1) A question I had was why did Guy start to rip off the pages of the bible??
2) Q: Faber jokingly proposes a plan of action and then starts to discuss it seriously with Montag. What is the plan of action? More importantly, why does he say it won’t work? Analyze his answer. Why won't it work?
A: The plan he was kidding about was that they where going to make copies of the bible and put it in fire mans houses and see if they burn down there houses, but then Faber says that it is going to work because the fire mans are not the problem. What he meant was that the fire men are just doing there job and there just getting rid of what people don’t use any more

I think this was the part where Montag was trying to pursuade Faber to join his plan, and I think he did this to sort of torture Faber so that he would agree to his plan.
I agree with what Amiry said. Guy wanted to make Faber angry that he was pulling pages out of the bible so he would agree to help him overthrow the firemen.
